Charge Air Coolers
Nissens OEM's charge air coolers have been designed to cool the intake air in turbo chargers and thereby increase the density of the combustion air. This helps to ensure both increased engine performance and lower fuel consumption, and the adherence to emission regulations.
The dimensioning of the coolers takes into account the cooling efficiency and the loss of internal pressure. This ensures that the customer will have a charge air cooler that complies with specifications and demands, legal regulations, emission standards etc.
A number of Nissens OEM's charge air coolers are manufactured with a cast tank in order to ensure optimum flow conditions, since this is of vital importance for the internal pressure loss in the charge air cooler.
