Quality demands

General demands to quality control
Nissens is certified according to the ISO/TS 16949 standards, and expects suppliers to operate according to similar or better standards in order to ensure quality.

Furthermore, Nissens' suppliers should as a minimum be certified according to the most recent version of the ISO 9001, and suppliers are obliged to inform Nissens about any and every change in certifications, including new, changed, and discontinued certifications.

Nissens reserves the right to carry out audits at the suppliers' facilities, regardless of the type of certification they hold, and suppliers must also grant Nissens' customers the right to carry out audits.

Specific quality demands
Nissens' suppliers may only ship goods which are 100 % in accordance with current co-operation agreements. In the event that the supplier has reason to assume the occurrence of errors, deviations, or any other circumstances that result in products not complying with agreed standards, products may only be shipped with express written permission from Nissens. If Nissens agrees to receive the products, packaging must be marked clearly with causal information, and Nissens' dispensation number must be prominent and visible.

All control plans and inspection and test data worked out at the supplier's facilities must be kept on file for a minimum of three years.

Suppliers must always ensure traceability to the extent it is agreed upon with Nissens.
