To ensure that new colleagues quickly feel welcome and become an integral part of our organization, we invest in a careful onboarding process. Through our introductory program, you get the first insight into Nissens, network building, introduction of departments and associated functional areas. There are lunch arrangements with colleagues as well as various forms of follow-up on the onboarding process.

Maria Helena Lund Kristensen, Customer Service Coordinator 

 

It was never my plan to work in the automotive aftermarket industry – but after being a set of extra hands in Customer Service during the high season 6,5 years ago, I learned that I function well in this environment and with these daily tasks. I went from a vacation helper to a logistics trainee, and now, I'm a customer service coordinator in the customer service department. I found my "shelf". I expect to be here many more years to come!

 

I am now in charge of several different countries (e.g., UA, FR, AU, etc.), and I really enjoy communicating with our customers every day regarding orders, claims, and several other inquiries. This job never gets boring.

 

At this point, being with Nissens is almost like being with family, as it has been such a huge part of my "becoming adult" life. I am still looking forward to seeing my colleagues every day, learning new things about myself, and developing new skills within my area.

Years ago, I was looking for a job in sales and marketing and came across Nissens, which appeared to me to be an exciting brand and industry. I started in sales by building customer associations in a local market. Due to my background and personal drive, I have moved entirely into the company's central marketing throughout the years. 

 

Today, I ensure that Nissens' marketing provides global concepts, solutions, and content supporting our and our customers' key business processes. We also guarantee the appropriate perception and association of our brands. I lead the group's marketing department, a multi-disciplinary in-house creative agency. 

 

I am really proud to see our company's recent growth and dynamic development, and I am happy and excited to contribute to Nissens' great future. A tip on how to succeed in this environment? Being ready to leave your comfort zone is always beneficial for personal development, and embracing the changes around you with curiosity and a willingness to walk the extra mile is a good strategy, too.

Corné Schoonen, Area Sales Manager Benelux

 

Since 1983, I have been actively engaged in the automotive industry, focusing specifically on cooling systems. Since 2008, I have been part of Nissens Automotive, where I currently hold the Area Sales Manager position. In this role, I am responsible for sales, strategic planning, and the overall development of our brand in the region.

Over the years, my role has evolved from traditional fieldwork to a more analytical and strategic approach. Nissens has given me complete responsibility for the market, allowing me the freedom to act. This has enabled me to implement a comprehensive strategy that fosters collaboration with wholesalers and ITGs while positioning Nissens as a trusted brand among end users, particularly mechanics. As a result, Nissens has become their preferred choice, and I'm very proud of this accomplishment.

I am thrilled about our company's recent growth and dynamic development and eager to continue contributing to Nissens' bright future. Lærke Louise Vexborg, Product Category Manager

 

I come from a completely different background than the industry I work in today.

 

For many years, I have worked in the retail sector, working for some of Denmark’s largest retail chains—something I am very proud of. This experience has taught me what good business practices are and, most importantly, what matters: the customers. It has become a core part of my work approach.

 

As a Product Category Manager at Nissens, I have had the opportunity to broaden my horizons. I have learned about a new industry that is quite different from my previous experience. There are many exciting factors to consider, and it has significantly developed my professional skills.

 

Nissens has shown me great trust, and during my short time here, I have been part of several successful projects. A highlight was launching a new product group, Throttle Bodies, which has had a very strong start. Development is crucial to me, and I have genuinely had the opportunity for growth here.
