As electrification accelerates, software-defined vehicles become mainstream, Chinese vehicle brands expand, and customer expectations evolve, the aftermarket faces new challenges and significant opportunities. Nissens Automotive demonstrated how its strategy, product portfolio, and technical capabilities enable customers to navigate these developments and capture future business potential.
A major highlight of the exhibition was the Nissens Automotive Global Press Conference. The event attracted more than 100 guests, including over 40 international automotive journalists, representatives of leading International Trading Groups such as ADI, ATR, TEMOT, and GAI, and selected customer partners. In a structured and engaging format, the event communicated the key messages that defined the company’s presence at the show.

Senior leaders from Standard Motor Products (SMP) and Nissens Automotive shared their views on the future of the aftermarket. They discussed electrification, emerging vehicle brands, software-defined technologies, smart parts, product innovation, and the value created through SMP’s global manufacturing and development capabilities.

“Whether it is electrification, software-defined vehicles, Chinese brands, or entirely new technologies, Nissens Automotive is ready. Together with SMP and our three brands, we continue to Deliver the Difference by turning market challenges into customer success”. - Klavs Pedersen, President of Nissens Automotive, concluded with a message that summarized the spirit of Automechanika 2026.
Nissens Automotive’s presence at the show conveyed the three main messages:
Capturing New Market Opportunities - highlighted an expanding EV and PHEV portfolio with more than 2,000 New Energy Vehicle (NEV)-related SKUs. It also showed strong coverage of key Chinese vehicle brands, including BYD, Chery, Geely, and SAIC.
Powered by New Skills - demonstrated how Nissens Smart Parts combine advanced hardware, software integration, and aftermarket engineering expertise to support increasingly complex repairs.
Driving Success for Customers - showcased twelve product innovations and range extensions, including Nissens Ignition Coils, A/C Hoses, HVAC Door Actuators, AVA EGR Coolers, and Highway AdBlue Components & Soot Sensors. Together, these solutions help customers enter new categories and unlock new revenue opportunities.
The exhibition also reinforced the strength of Nissens Group’s multi-brand strategy. Together, Nissens Automotive, AVA, and Highway Automotive provide specialized spare parts solutions for all vehicle segments within climate comfort, engine and thermal management systems, offering customers broad market coverage through one strong group.
