Nissens Ignition Coils launch event

Nissens Automotive has recently welcomed various industry press titles to Białystok, Poland, to introduce the Ignition Coil range to the public. The event highlighted both the breadth of the program and Nissens’ long-term commitment to supporting the aftermarket with reliable, high-quality product solutions.

The event opened with a presentation outlining the analysis behind the launch, assessing aftermarket needs, future demand, and long-term growth potential, confirming that the range offers a strong opportunity for both distributors and workshops.

To underline the quality standards behind the range, visitors were invited to the Nissens-SMP ignition coil production facility in Białystok. The visit provided direct insight into the manufacturing processes, materials, and product improvements that enable the range to meet OE requirements and, in selected applications, exceed them.

Beyond quality and performance, the Nissens ignition coil program has been developed with two key aftermarket priorities in mind: design relevance and vehicle coverage. The range includes standard, pencil, coil-on-plug (COP), rail, and block coil designs, supporting the requirements of passenger-car and light-commercial-vehicle applications across the European market.

At launch, the program comprises 230 ignition coil references covering more than 1,000 OE part numbers. This represents more than 65% of the European car parc, providing workshops and distribution partners with strong market relevance from day one.

Alongside the technical program, guests participated in a series of activities designed to reinforce the event theme, create a memorable brand experience, and maintain a clear connection to the ignition coil launch. It included passenger drift experiences and off-road driving sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to experience demanding vehicle performance environments first-hand. These activities supported the event narrative by demonstrating the importance of dependable ignition performance under varied operating conditions.

The event also included collaborative team activities that strengthened relationships and created additional opportunities to present the wider product offering available across the Nissens, AVA, and Highway Automotive portfolios.

The day concluded with a gala dinner and award presentation, bringing the program to a strong close. Overall, the event successfully introduced the new ignition coil range and reinforced confidence in its role within the expanding Nissens aftermarket portfolio.
